Eolus continues the growth journey in Poland – new solar projects acquired

Eolus has recently acquired a portfolio of nine solar projects in Poland totalling 135 MW from the Polish developer 01CYBERATON PROENERGY S.A.

The projects recently acquired are under development with estimated commercial operation dates in 2025-2026, but the timing is dependent on the permitting processes and grid connection possibilities. 01CYBERATON PROENERGY S.A. will develop the projects in close cooperation with Eolus Poland under development services agreements.

– These acquisitions are in line with our growth strategy for Poland where both acquisitions and greenfield development are important parts. We are very happy to enter into co-operation with 01CYBERATON PROENERGY and we are optimistic about the outcome of the projects despite the current challenging development environment, says Daniel Larsson, Country Manager of Eolus Poland.

As of today, Eolus’ project portfolio in Poland comprises more than 900 MW PV-projects under development.

– With our long experience from onshore wind development on other markets, we are also actively pursuing onshore wind opportunities also in Poland. Additionally, we have applied for three seabed permits in the second phase of offshore wind development outside the Polish coastline, concludes Daniel Larsson.
