Increased concession from 330 MW to 400 MW in Öyfjellet

In November 2016 Eolus Vind Norge AS received final concession for Öyfjellet wind farm by Norges Olje- og energidepartementet (OED). Norges Olje- og energidepartementet (OED) has now granted Eolus permission to change the concession for Öyfjellet wind farm. The new concession comprises 400 MW within the project area which is an increase by 70 MW from the previous 330 MW. The change of concession also includes new placing of two transformer station in the project area instead of a transformer station at Tverråga and an extension of about 1.6 kilometers by the 132 kV power line that will extend from Öyfjellet to Marka transformer station.
