Bäckhammar to supply Amazon with renewable electricity

Wind farm Bäckhammar that is under construction in the municipalities of Kristinehamn and Degerfors in Sweden will supply Amazons Swedish data centers with renewable electricity. The buyer of wind farm Bäckhammar, KGAL, has signed a contract with Amazon Web Services regarding delivery of renewable electricity when the wind farm is completed in 2020.  When Bäckhammar is commissioned Eolus has been entrusted by KGAL to manage the facility to maximize the outcome and production.
