Approved MTA plan for Öyfjellet

The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) today, December 18th, has decided to approve the MTA plan for wind farm Öyfjellet.
The wind farm has a granted permit of up to 400 MW and is covered by a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Alcoa. Eolus has signed an agreement with Aquila Capital regarding the sale of the wind farm as well as a 15-year agreement to provide technical, operational and administrative services for the facility.
