Corporate governance

Good corporate governance is about maintaining the trust of the market, shareholders and other stakeholders.

Corporate governance describes how the tasks are allocated between Eolus decision-making and controlling bodies which is determined on the basis of applicable laws, regulations and processes:

  • The company’s shareholders exercise their decision-making powers at the General Meeting.
  • The Board of Directors carries the ultimate responsibility for the organisation and management of the company’s affairs.
  • The CEO, who is appointed by the Board of Directors, is responsible for day-to-day management in accordance with the instructions of the Board.
  • The external auditor is appointed by the General Meeting to review the accounts and the management of the Board of Directors and CEO.

Eolus Vind AB (publ.) is a Swedish public limited liability company that has been listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2 February 2015. The company is traded on Nasdaq Stockholm Mid Cap. Eolus Vind AB has approximately 40,000 shareholders. It applies corporate governance in accordance with the Swedish Corporate Governance Code and this is therefore based on principles deriving from law, listing agreements, guidelines and good practice. The company is a CSD-registered company, whose register of shareholders is managed by Euroclear Sweden AB (formerly VPC). The company has issued a total of 24,907,000 shares.
