The wind power market is mainly driven by two trends – a global increase in energy demand and an equally increasing global environmental awareness, in which the effects of greenhouse gases on climate change play a major role.

Eolus designs and develops onshore wind power facilities, primarily in Sweden but also in Norway, Finland, the US and the Baltic countries of Estonia and Latvia. In addition, Eolus is a majority shareholder in Blekinge Offshore, with plans to expand one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms. Eolus’s role in the market is to offer end-investors facilities that provide the lowest-possible price per MWh of electricity generated over the life of the facility.
